我父亲有一个朋友叫黄城他生活在农村,那里有一个大池塘。他擅长养鱼。在他的鱼塘里有很多种鱼。他从鱼塘得到的收入可以很容易的赡养他的家人。

上周日是一个可爱的,阳光明媚的一天。我的父亲开车带我去他朋友在的地方,那里有两个新的钓鱼杆,他不久前买的。农村那里景色真的很美丽。黄叔叔带我们去一个很好的地方钓鱼,给了我们一些蚯蚓做诱饵。刚开始,我有点怕蚯蚓。黄叔叔教我如何使用它们。然后我们开始钓鱼。

我的父亲把一些鱼食放入水中。很快那部分水吸引了许多鱼聚集在那里。当我把鱼钩放入水中,鱼在吃饵。我以为它上钩了。所以我举起钓竿,但鱼游走了,我的钓鱼线缠在水草那里。真是可惜了!我太心急了。我应该等待鱼咬了饵,然后我才能抓住它。

从那以后,我变得非常细心和耐心。最后,我抓到了八条大鱼而我爸爸只抓到了三只小鱼。我为我在钓鱼上取得的成功感到高兴。钓鱼可以让我越来越有耐心和自信!我喜欢钓鱼!

there are two types of people in the world. although they have equal degrees of health and wealth and the other comforts of life, one becomes happy, the other becomes miserable. this arises from the different ways in which they consider things, persons, and events, and the resulting effects upon their minds.

the people who are to be happy fix their attention on the conveniences of things, the pleasant parts of conveniences of things, the pleasant parts of conversation, the well-prepared dishes, the dishes, the goodness of wines, the fine weather. they enjoy all the cheerful things. those who are to be unhappy think and speak only of the contrary things. therefore, they are continually discontented. by their remarks, they sour the pleasures of society, offend many people, and make themselves disagreeable everywhere. if this turn of mind were founded in nature, such unhappy persons would be more to be pitied. the tendency to criticize and be disgusted is perhaps taken up originally by imitation. it grows into a habit, unknown to its possessors. the habit may be strong, but it may be cured when those who have it are convinced of its bad effects on their interests and tastes.

although in fact it is chiefly an act of imagination, it has serious consequence in life, since it brings on deep sorrow and bad luck. those people offend many others, nobody loves them, and no one treats them with more than the most common politeness and respect, and scarcely that. this frequently puts them in bad temper and draws them into arguments. if they aim at obtaining some advantage in rank or fortune, nobody wishes them success. if they bring on themselves public disapproval, no one will defend or excuse them, and many will join to criticize their misconduct. these people should change this bad habit and condescend to be pleased with what is pleasing, without worrying needlessly about themselves and others. if they do not, it will be good for others to avoid any contact with them.

很多人都有这样的疑问:我的作文如果使用了模板,被阅卷老师发现了,是不是会给很低的分数,模板痕迹怎样才能避免?作为立竿见影的一种作文应考形式,写作模板已经深入到考试很多年,模板到底是利还是弊,反模板的倾向到底是真是假?

模板是否该有褒贬?

模板本身并没有绝对的褒贬色彩,但是绝对脱离模板的文章是根本不存在的'。它只是我们平时在写作当中形成的固定格式,就像建筑物需要框架、城市需要规划图、人不能光有血肉,还要有骨架一样,模板也是文章的必要部分,不可或缺,所以很多时候我们很多人混淆了概念。一个好的文章不能只有具体的内容,必须有自身的构架。

为什么现在的考研作文充斥着各种各样的模板?

事实是,这个问题仍然是偷换了概念。并不只是考研写作里有,在国内的各种类型考试里都存在模板这个现象。究其原因,一方面是我刚才提到的上述原因,另一方面,也是因为考研人数的不断翻倍。

很多考生现在考研的目的,并不是为了真心学习好英语,主要问题在于,很多考生短时间内做不到将英语有一个质的突破,于是希望借助模板这种形式,来降低自己写作的负担和压力,从而应付考研英语这门考试。时间久了,这个东西就被大众化了。

到底什么是高分作文?

不管是四六级还是考研,这种考试完全是针对英语水平的测试。虽然考研不像四六级明确冠名级别类的考试,但是客观事实毕竟存在,因为它面向的考生主要仍然是多数英语基础本身就存在问题,写作方面连基本的单词和语法错误都不是特别容易规避的那部分人。

对于这样的群体而言,考试的目标自然不言而喻。写作首先要规避错误,因为你写得再高级,写错了是没有任何意义的,其次要看语言质量,注意这里说的是语言质量而不是内容。语言质量过关了,基本印象就有了,分数自然低不了。考研阅卷人的阅卷量是非常大的,而且阅卷时间非常短暂,在这么有限的时间里,不可能对你的内容逐字逐句分析,只要不跑题,更多留下来的印象还是你的语言水平,也就是单词和句型的质量。

该不该用模板?

写作的高分标准,一是错误率低,二是闪光点多,也就是单词和句式水平高,内容居其次。

高分还是低分的主要因素,不是是否使用了模板,而是语言质量是否高级,是否出现特别低级的词性错误。无论模板与否,阅卷人没有任何理由跟一篇完全写对了的文章过不去。考生真正要重视自己基本功的训练,而不是单纯纠结于用模板与否。

最好的方法是,平时多积累闪光句,借鉴别人的模板,内化为自己的模板。

As your book tells you, if you put two independent clauses together without proper punctuation, you have made an error called a run-on sentence. Another name for this error is a fused sentence. Chapter Three explains techniques for figuring out if you have made this error in your writing, and if you have, how to fix it. Chapter Three will review much of what you learned in Chapter Two about coordination. Run-ons are generally created when you attempt to coordinate sentences and don't use the correct punctuation. In addition to run-ons, you will review how to correct comma splices. Comma splices are created when you attempt to join two complete sentences with just a comma and no coordinating conjunction.
